Ríos Posts Hitting and Pitching Standings, Moves Message Links to Left Menu 04/10/2002 SANTA LECHUGA (SLPL News) - SLPL owners can finally see compiled hitting and pitching standings and statistics on the website. "I dunno why it took me so long to post them," SLPL Webmaster Pedregoso Ríos said. "But they are there now." By adding these stats, owners can now see where they stand in each of the following payout categories: Division Champs, Hitting & Pitching Champs, the Bonus Points Champ, and the Regular Season Champs. To make room for the button used to see the new stats, Ríos moved the SLPL message board links from the top navigation bar to the left-hand menu. "I've heard reports that some owners couldn't see all the options on the webpage," Ríos said, "so I'm trying to change things so everyone can use the site." The menu on the left has also been enhanced. According to Ríos, "Owners may not know it, but there's a lot of good stuff there. Sure, we got SLPL-related stuff like the message board, columnists, team information, and SLPL-past info. But we also provide great links to CBS Sportsline.com ('MLB') including live stats updates. Wanna see who's hitting homeruns today? Just click on 'HRs' and a page will pop up showing everyone that has hit one out. That's cool."
