Rios Posts Trades, Complains About Owners

SANTA LECHUGA (SLPL News) - Though just yesterday he announced that he may not be able to post SLPL Mid-Season Trades before July 15th, SLPL Webmaster Pedregoso Ríos got off his butt and actually posted the trades yesterday. "Yeah, sure, I've gotten a lot of grief for not updating the website very often," Ríos said, "but I can rise to the occasion when I really have to."

By entering the trades yesterday, the league statistician ensured that the standings are mostly up-to-date. "There are a few knucklehead owners that didn't send the trades to both me and the commish (Rube Furrow)," a peeved Ríos said. "So, even though all our league communique regarding Mid-Season Trades clearly and obviously said to e-mail trades to both of us, some boneheaded owners just sent their trades to Rube. Look, Rube's got better things to do that sit around forwarding e-mails all day! I'm not sure what they are, but I'm sure he must have better things to do."

Ríos said that he thinks Furrow has now forwarded him all trades and that tomorrow's standings will reflect the most up-to-date stats.
